Tip 1: Prevent Hose Damage. Many vintage-style heater hoses are constructed from a delicate paper and aluminum foil composite. Tip 2: Strategic Screw Orientation. Position the adjustment screw of the clamp so it is easily accessible with a flat-head screwdriver or nut driver once the engine is fully assembled.
