Tip 1: Apply Quality Grease. Before assembling the kit, apply a generous amount of high-quality lithium grease to the shifter ball and the plastic spacer. This ensures smooth movement and prevents premature wear on the plastic components during high-frequency shifting.

Tip 2: Do Not Over-Tighten. When securing the shifter base bolts, ensure they are snug but avoid over-tightening.
