PRO TIPS

Bench Bleeding is Mandatory

Before you ever bolt this master cylinder into your rail or buggy, you MUST bench bleed it. Because of the rectangular reservoir and the internal piston design, air bubbles can easily get trapped in the rear of the bore. Mount the cylinder in a vise, fill the reservoir, and use a bleeding kit to loop the fluid from the 1/8 inch NPT outlet back into the reservoir. Slow, steady strokes are key. Check Your Pedal Pushrod Geometry

When installing this on a CNC or Neal pedal assembly, ensure that your pushrod is perfectly centered and has a slight amount of free play (about 1/16 of an inch) when the pedal is at rest. If the pushrod is too long, the piston inside the master cylinder won''t retract fully, which prevents the compensating port from opening.
