PRO TIPS

1. Always Install a New Vapor Barrier

Before you snap your new Masonite panels into place, it is absolutely critical to install a plastic vapor barrier between the metal door skin and the door panel. Even though Masonite is much tougher than the original cardboard, constant exposure to window-seal leaks and condensation inside the door can eventually cause damage. Use a heavy-gauge plastic sheet and high-quality spray adhesive or butyl tape to seal the door cavity. 2. Test Fit Your Handles Before Final Snaps
