This muffler is engineered for the 1 o'clock mounting position on a small 3-bolt flange extractor. It is fully compatible with stock heater boxes or J-tubes. Check Your Flange Orientation: Before finalizing your installation, ensure your extractor has the small 3-bolt flange positioned at the 1 o'clock angle. If your header flange is at a different clock position, the muffler will sit at an incorrect angle and may interfere with the rear apron or bumper.

Prevent Seized Hardware: Always use a small amount of high-temp anti-seize on the exhaust studs before installing the included copper nuts. This makes future maintenance much easier and prevents the hardware from galling or seizing due to the extreme heat cycles of the aircooled engine.
