Proper Sealing Nut Orientation: When assembling the engine case, ensure the special sealing nuts are used on the main thru-studs. These nuts are designed to prevent oil from migrating past the threads. To ensure a leak-free build, apply a small amount of engine sealant to the base of the nut before torquing to specification.

Intake Manifold Clearance: This kit features special 8mm nuts with a reduced 12mm hex head for the intake manifolds. Standard 13mm nuts often lack the clearance needed for a socket or wrench to fit between the nut and the manifold casting. Always use these specialized nuts to avoid stripping the hardware or damaging the manifold during installation.

Anti-Seize Properties of Copper: Use the included copper-plated lock nuts specifically for the exhaust studs and heat exchangers.
