Pro Tech Tips for Installation

Prepare the Surface: Before applying the emblem, clean the mounting area thoroughly with isopropyl alcohol or a dedicated wax and grease remover. Even a small amount of wax or ceramic coating residue will prevent the adhesive from bonding permanently to the paint.

Use a Leveling Guide: Once the adhesive touches the paint, it grabs quickly. Use a strip of painter's masking tape to create a straight baseline or "ledge" on the body panel. This allows you to align the emblem perfectly level before pressing it into place, avoiding a crooked installation.

Temperature Matters: For the strongest bond, install the emblem when the ambient temperature and the vehicle surface are at least 65F (18C). If you are working in a cold climate, gently warm the mounting area and the back of the emblem with a hair dryer to "activate" the adhesive properties before application.
