PRO TIPS

If you are running a high-displacement stroker engine or a turbo setup, moving up to a Kennedy Stage 2 will ensure the disc never slips, but keep in mind that the combination of a puck-style disc and a heavy plate will result in a very "on/off" feel at the pedal.

Check Your Flywheel Surface: Never install a feramic puck disc on a used, glazed, or heat-spotted flywheel. The aggressive nature of the feramic material requires a fresh, flat friction surface to work correctly. I always advise my customers to have their flywheel professionally surfaced or replaced with a new chromoly unit when upgrading to a 4-puck disc.
