Tip 1: Inspect Your Exhaust Clamps. When removing your old tips, check the condition of your exhaust clamps. If they are rusted or losing tension, replace them with new high-quality clamps to ensure these stainless tips stay securely fastened and do not vibrate during operation.

Tip 2: Apply High-Temp Anti-Seize. Before sliding the new tips onto the muffler outlets, apply a thin layer of high-temperature anti-seize lubricant to the connection point. This prevents the metals from seizing together over time, making it much easier to remove or adjust the tips in the future.
