Master the Rope-In Technique: To seat the seal correctly, insert a thin nylon cord or clothesline into the outer groove of the rubber seal after it has been fitted onto the glass. With a helper pushing the window firmly against the car from the outside, slowly pull the cord from the inside. This action pulls the rubber lip over the metal body flange for a secure fit.
