1. Ensure a Perfect Ground for Accuracy

Electric gauges rely on resistance to provide a reading, which means a poor ground is the number one cause of inaccurate temperature displays. When installing the sender into a Volkswagen engine block or transmission case, avoid using excessive Teflon tape on the threads, as this can insulate the sender and break the electrical ground path. 2. Strategic Sender Placement

3. Protect Your Wiring Loom
