They are listed for those that may try to use the hose for non VW applications. NOTE: Some fuel necks use a metal coupler to join 2 sections of filler hose. Measure to see if you will need one or 2 quantity of this hose.

Unavailable for many years, EMPI product engineers have created a highly accurate reproduction of the original fuel tank for 1956-1960 Beetle and Karmann Ghia using CAD for a perfect fit and trouble-free installation. Constructed of stamped mild steel, TIG welded and finished in black, these tanks will deliver years of leak and fume-free operation. Just like the original, this is a dipstick tank, there is no provision for a fuel level sender.
