Tip 1: Address Transition Hesitation. The idle jet handles fuel delivery from idle up to approximately 2,500-3,000 RPM. If your engine "stumbles" or "pops" when you lighty accelerate from a stop, it is often a sign that your idle jet is too lean. Upgrading to a .45 jet is a common solution for 1600cc to 1776cc engines to bridge the gap between the idle and main circuits.

Tip 2: Prevent Clogging with Filtration. Because the orifice in a .45 jet is extremely small (0.45mm), it is highly susceptible to microscopic debris.
