Tip 1: Use Solar Heat for Easier Installation. Vinyl seat covers can be stiff right out of the box. For the best fit, lay the cover out in direct sunlight for 15 to 20 minutes before installing. The heat makes the material significantly more pliable, allowing you to stretch it over the edges of the fiberglass or plastic shell without struggling against wrinkles.

Tip 2: Double-Check Drawstring Tension. This cover features a drawstring attachment for easy removal and cleaning. After the initial installation, sit in the seat and move around to help the cover "settle" into the contours of the shell. Then, go back and tighten the drawstring one more time before tying it off to ensure the cover doesn't slide or shift while you are driving.
