Whether you are installing a standard muffler, a performance header, or an extractor system, this kit provides the essential sealing components required for a professional installation. Each kit includes two exhaust port gaskets for the cylinder heads, two intake heat riser gaskets, and the necessary nuts and bolts to secure the intake manifold to the heat riser connection.

Clean Sealing Surfaces: Before installing the new gaskets, use a gasket scraper or wire brush to remove all traces of old gasket material and carbon buildup from the cylinder head exhaust ports and the header flanges. A clean, flat surface is critical to preventing exhaust leaks that can affect engine performance and sound.

Anti-Seize Lubricant: Apply a small amount of high-temp anti-seize lubricant to the exhaust studs and the heat riser bolts. This prevents the hardware from seizing due to extreme heat cycles, making future maintenance or exhaust adjustments much easier without the risk of breaking studs.

The Heat Cycle Re-Torque: Exhaust gaskets often compress slightly after the first few engine runs. After installing the kit and running the engine through two or three full heat cycles, go back and re-check the torque on all nuts and bolts to ensure everything remains tight and leak-free.
