Pro Tech Tips for Installation

Strip and Recoat Before Install: The black paint found on these exhaust systems is strictly for rust prevention during shipping and storage; it is not a high-heat finish. For the best results and to prevent the paint from burning off immediately, we recommend stripping the storage coating and applying a high-quality, high-heat ceramic or header paint before mounting the system to your engine.

Verify Apron Alignment: Because this system is designed to exit through the stock apron cutouts, it is vital to test-fit the muffler before fully torquing down your header bolts. Ensure the chrome tips are perfectly centered in the apron holes to prevent vibration noise or heat damage to your vehicle's bodywork.

Use Fresh Gaskets and Sealant: To ensure a leak-free seal and achieve that crisp GT exhaust note, always use a fresh set of exhaust gaskets during installation.
