The Rubber Camshaft Plug sits installs between the case halves during engine assembly in the camshaft bore. The rubber cam plug fits 1966 through 1977 Beetles, 1971 through 1979 Super Beetles, 1966 through 1974 Karmann Ghias, 1962 through 1973 Type 3 models, 1973 through 1974 Things, 1963 through 1979 Type 2 Bus models, 1983 through 1991 Vanagons and 1986 through 1991 Syncros with non-grooved engine cases. -
