Designed for 12-volt systems, this light features a 3/8" red lens and a chrome bezel, fitting perfectly into any standard 1/2" mounting hole.

Pro Tech Tips for Installation

1. Precise Hole Sizing: While the outer chrome bezel measures approximately 5/8" (0.640") to cover the mounting area, the actual body of the light requires a 1/2" drill hole. Use a step-drill bit on metal dashboards to get a clean, burr-free opening for a snug fit.

2. Grounding in Fiberglass: If you are installing this light in a fiberglass Dune Buggy or Manx body, remember that the light cannot ground through the dash panel. You must run a dedicated ground wire from the light housing to a chassis ground point or a terminal block to complete the circuit.

3. Terminal Protection: To prevent electrical shorts behind the dashboard, use insulated female spade connectors or apply heat-shrink tubing over the wire leads. This is especially important in off-road vehicles where vibration can cause wires to rub against the metal frame or other components.
