1. Always Verify Clearance at Full Suspension Cycle
When installing these high mis-alignment spacers on your VW, it is critical to cycle the suspension through its entire range of motionfrom full metal-to-metal bump to full droop. Even though these spacers provide significantly more angle, you must ensure that at the most extreme points of travel, the rod end housing does not contact the mounting tabs or the bolt head. If you encounter contact, you may need to slightly clear-ance your mounting brackets or reconsider the clocking of your rod end to prevent catastrophic failure of the joint.
2. Match Your Hardware Strength to the Application
Because these spacers reduce the hole size to 5/8-inch, you are concentrating the load on a slightly smaller fastener than the 3/4-inch bore might suggest.
