EMPI has redesigned this critical piece of engine tin using CAD with a wider lip creating an improved seal. Frequently overlooked and omitted during engine builds; the Hoover Bit must be bolted directly to the rear of the doghouse oil cooler. A missing Hoover Bit results in a less effective cooling system, leading to poor performance.
Please note that modifications may be required when installing aftermarket engine tin.
One Piece design, improved seal.
