Pro Tip 2: Perfect Alignment for Optimal Airflow. When installing the sandwich brackets into the decklid vents, do not tighten the stainless steel hardware fully until the wing is perfectly centered. Use a soft measuring tape to check the distance from the wing end-plates to the edge of the decklid on both sides. Centering the wing accurately ensures that the Gurney flap provides even downforce across the rear axle and keeps the air-intake stand-offs aligned with the factory louvers for maximum engine cooling efficiency.
